Dr. Jimmy Draper
James T. Draper is the President Emeritus of Lifeway Christian Resources where he served as President and CEO from 1991-2006. He has pastored churches in Bryan, Iredell, Tyler, San Antonio, Kansas City (MO), Del City (OK), Dallas (associate pastor), and Euless. Dr. Draper has served as a trustee, chairman of board of trustees, interim president, and president for many seminaries, associations, and conventions over the decades and is also a prominent figure in the Southern Baptist Convention. He has written over 25 books such as “Every Christian a Minister: Finding Joy and Fulfillment in Serving God” and “Don’t Quit Before You Finish”. He is married to Carol Ann and they have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
